In a gut-wrenching video posted by Savannah Guthrie, the \u201cToday Show\u201d host said her family received a message and they \u201cwill pay\u201d ransom money to have their 84-year-old mother returned.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe received your message and we understand,\u201d Savannah Guthrie said in a video posted Saturday night. \u201cWe beg you now to return our mother to us, so we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is very valuable to us,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd we will pay.\u201d<\/p>\n
In the somber video, Savannah Guthrie is holding hands with her two siblings, Annie and Camron.<\/p>\n
Nancy Guthrie was forcefully\u00a0taken from her home<\/a>\u00a0in Catalina Hills outside of Tucson, Arizona, in the early morning hours of February 1, according to authorities.<\/p>\n BREAKING<\/p>\n In a new video, Savannah Guthrie, joined by her sister and brother, speaks directly to the person or persons who abducted their mother, Nancy, and says she will pay the ransom to have her returned. pic.twitter.com\/DJMHYaLWdV<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 Yashar Ali \ud83d\udc18 (@yashar) February 7, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n President Donald Trump on\u00a0Friday night told the press that the feds would likely soon be able to provide \u201cdefinitive\u201d answers or a \u201csolution\u201d concerning the capture of Nancy.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll give you a little statement,\u201d Trump said. \u201cI think we\u2019re doing very well, very well, meaning, we have some clues I think that are very strong, and I think we could have some answers coming up fairly soon.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not talking about a search, I\u2019m talking about a solution,\u201d the president continued. \u201cWe have some things I think that will maybe come out reasonably soon from [Department of Justice] or FBI, or whoever that could be \u2014 that could be definitive.\u201d<\/p>\n Trump\u00a0said<\/a>\u00a0on February 4 that he spoke to\u00a0Savannah Guthrie and let her know that he was \u201cdirecting ALL Federal Law Enforcement to be at the family\u2019s, and Local Law Enforcement\u2019s, complete disposal, IMMEDIATELY.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe are deploying all resources to get her mother home safely,\u201d he added. \u201cThe prayers of our Nation are with her and her family. GOD BLESS AND PROTECT NANCY!\u201d<\/p>\n On Feb. 5, police confirmed<\/a> during a press conference that blood found on the front porch of Nancy Guthrie\u2019s home was indeed hers.<\/p>\n Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos <\/span>updated<\/span><\/a> the public on the investigation at a recent press conference. While law enforcement has neither identified a suspect nor person of interest, Nanos said that more samples of DNA in addition to the blood on the porch had been sent in for analysis.<\/span><\/p>\n The sheriff also said that his office, with help from other law enforcement, including the FBI, have been investigating dozens of tips in the search for Guthrie.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cRight now, we still believe Nancy is still out there,\u201d said Nanos.<\/span><\/p>\n Law enforcement on Thursday released an estimated timetable of Guthrie\u2019s disappearance and revealed that a home camera, one that attached to Guthrie\u2019s front doorbell, was disconnected and removed. Investigators have still not located the missing camera.<\/span><\/p>\n Multiple ransom notes with deadlines have been sent following Guthrie\u2019s disappearance, demanding millions of dollars in Bitcoin.<\/p>\n On Friday, Guthrie\u2019s vehicle was towed from her home, according to NBC News<\/a>.
