But at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal, a well-known homeless <a href=\"https:\/\/gothamist.com\/news\/nyc-sent-a-warming-bus-to-a-hub-for-homelessness-those-who-needed-it-had-no-idea\">gathering spot<\/a>, nobody knew the buses were there\u2014including the homeless, a police officer on patrol, and terminal workers. The city issued no announcements, and though the buses had &#8220;warming center&#8221; signs, they were barely noticeable.
