According to the FO, the pair \u201cdeliberated on the recent situation in the region\u201d during the phone call.<\/p>\n<p>This was the second call between the two in the same week. On December 30, 2025, the two had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1964118\">exchanged views<\/a> on \u201cthe current regional situation and recent developments\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Both nations have a multifaceted relationship rooted in strategic military cooperation, mutual economic interests, and shared Islamic heritage.
