Iran\u2019s parliamentary speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf<\/strong> has condemned Donald Trump\u2019s<\/strong> threats to target energy and transport infrastructure, saying he was being misled by Israel\u2019s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour reckless moves are dragging the United States into a living HELL for every single family, and our whole region is going to burn because you insist on following Netanyahu\u2019s commands,\u201d Qalibaf posted on X.<\/p>\n

Late on Sunday, Netanyahu suggested Israel<\/strong> assisted the US<\/strong> with its rescue of the downed airman in Iran<\/strong>. The Israeli prime minister said he had spoken to Trump and \u201ccongratulated him on his bold decision and a perfectly executed American mission\u201d. \u201cThe president expressed his appreciation for Israel\u2019s help,\u201d Netanyahu said.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, the US president used expletive-laden language to call on Iran<\/a> to let ships through the strait of Hormuz<\/strong> as he threatened to further attack Iranian energy and transport infrastructure. Writing on Truth Social, Trump said: \u201cOpen the Fuckin\u2019 Strait, you crazy bastards, or you\u2019ll be living in Hell.\u201d<\/p>\n

Showing it still had the ability to cause damage despite the US-Israeli pounding, Iran expanded attacks on Gulf energy infrastructure over the weekend, launching drone and missile strikes on petrochemical facilities in Kuwait<\/strong>, Bahrain<\/strong> and the United Arab Emirates<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Revolutionary Guards also said they hit an Israeli-linked vessel at Dubai<\/strong>\u2019s Jebel Ali port.<\/p>\n
