A federal judge dismissed a proposed class-action lawsuit accusing the maker of\u00a0Stanley\u00a0tumblers<\/a> of concealing that the popular water bottles contained lead.<\/p>\n

In a decision on Friday, U.S. District Judge Tana Lin in Seattle said consumers did not demonstrate a \u201cspecific and plausible risk of harm\u201d from lead by using the tumblers, which are made by the defendant Pacific Market International.<\/p>\n

The colorful tumblers are sometimes known as\u00a0Stanley\u00a0cups<\/a> and became popular with help from social media influencers.<\/p>\n
