Michigan, led by head coach Dusty May, held off Connecticut in a 67-63 victory in the 2026 NCAA Tournament\u2019s national championship game on Monday night in Indianapolis.<\/p>\n<p>It capped off an incredible run by Michigan that included an 18-point win over Arizona on Saturday in the Final Four.<\/p>\n<p>Ian Eagle, Bill Raftery, and Grant Hill (who <a href=\"https:\/\/awfulannouncing.com\/college-basketball\/ian-eagle-bill-raftery-grant-hill-win-best-broadcast-booth-title.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">won Awful Announcing\u2019s fan vote for the best broadcast booth in sports<\/a> in 2025) had the television call of the national championship game for TNT Sports.<\/p>\n<p>Eagle had an enthusiastic final call with a nod to \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=EF--ldYIBnM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Victors<\/a>\u201d that Michigan fans will remember forever.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Ian Eagle: \u201cHAIL TO THE CHAMPIONS!
