A 21-year-old man has died after being stabbed at the viewpoint on Primrose Hill, London, according to police.<\/p>\n

A murder investigation has been launched by the Metropolitan Police after officers were called to the park, which boasts panoramic views of the capital.<\/p>\n

Police added that a second man, believed to be in his 20s, was found on nearby Regent’s Park Road with stab wounds.<\/p>\n

The force said they were called at 6.41pm on Tuesday to reports of a fight, and officers and paramedics attended the park.<\/p>\n

Despite being treated for stab wounds, a 21-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

The second injured man was taken to hospital, although his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.<\/p>\n

The Met added that no arrests have been made, but a crime scene remains in place.<\/p>\n

Superintendent Matt Cox described the incident as “utterly tragic” and sought to reassure the public.<\/p>\n

In a statement, he said: “I would like to reassure the local community that the investigation is unfolding at pace and an increased police presence will remain in the area while we carry out enquiries.<\/p>\n

“I would appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time and has any information that could help my officers to come forward.”<\/p>\n

Primrose Hill is a popular and iconic park in the London borough of Camden which, because of its high point, has a clear view of central London.<\/p>\n
