Maria Salazar (R-FL) is madder than a wet hen because Americans who favor citizens say her pro-amnesty bill would amnesty millions of migrants and import many more legalized migrants.<\/p>\n<p class=\"a9d-pre\">\u201cREAD. THE. BILL. BEFORE. YOU. OPEN. YOUR. MOUTH,\u201d she angrily responded on April 7 when Rep. Bandon Gill (R-TX) slammed her \u201c<em>Dignidad<\/em>\u201d (dignity)\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/files.constantcontact.com\/1849eea4801\/50eab3df-8bbe-4494-8cb9-489657b13ca9.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">House bill<\/a>, which has 20 GOP sponsors and 20 Democratic sponsors.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a9d\"\/>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a9d\"\/>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"\/>\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/t\/assets\/html\/tweet-5.html#2041615908695670798\" data-btlnk=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepMariaSalazar\/status\/2041615908695670798\" class=\"bnn-if-tweet\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"260\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Salazar said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Calling the DIGNITY Act \u201camnesty\u201d isn\u2019t just wrong. It\u2019s a deliberate distortion and it exposes just how little you know about the bill.<\/p>\n<p>This is enforcement first: zero tolerance for criminals, permanent border security, and hard, earned requirements to step forward and face the law, so American workers are protected, not undercut.<\/p>\n<p>Amnesty is the chaos you\u2019ve defended, millions in the shadows, no control, no accountability, and a system that stopped working a long time ago.<\/p>\n<p>No shortcuts. No giveaways. No blanket forgiveness. That\u2019s law and order. That\u2019s DIGNITY.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Salazar\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/members-of-congress\/maria-salazar\/industries?cid=N00042810&amp;cycle=2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">donors include<\/a> investors who want to import cheap doctors and nurses, farm companies that want low-wage farmhands, real estate partners that want more renters, and consumer companies that want more customers. Her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miamiherald.com\/news\/local\/community\/miami-dade\/article218738980.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">personal wealth<\/a> was wrecked by the 2008 recession.<\/p>\n<p>Salazar\u2019s angry tweet kicked off a roast of taunts, jibes, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DataRepublican\/status\/2041692861037527464?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">critiques<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/cis.org\/Fishman\/Dignity-Act\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">legal analysis<\/a> from pro-American groups who detailed the numerous amnesties, giveaways, and betrayals in <a href=\"https:\/\/files.constantcontact.com\/1849eea4801\/50eab3df-8bbe-4494-8cb9-489657b13ca9.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">her bill<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"a9d-pre\">The pushback was more educated and more focused on economics than the pushback against the Democrats\u2019 disastrous 2013 \u201cGang of Eight\u201d amnesty and cheap-labor bill.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a9d\"\/>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a9d\"\/>\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/t\/assets\/html\/tweet-5.html#2041520692634714438\" data-btlnk=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BasedMikeLee\/status\/2041520692634714438\" class=\"bnn-if-tweet\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"260\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cLOL. If you actually read the bill, you\u2019ll see that it IS amnesty,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/iaproject\/status\/2041441281948184644?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> the Immigration Accountability Project:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>It\u2019s amnesty for millions of illegal aliens. It\u2019s amnesty for so-called Dreamers; it\u2019s amnesty for illegal aliens who came to the US prior to 2021; it\u2019s amnesty for illegal aliens who marry US citizens (talk about an incentive for immigration fraud!); and it\u2019s amnesty for all the employers that hired all the illegal aliens who get amnesty. It is not a serious immigration bill. IT IS AMNESTY<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cAmnesty for 12 million now plus more than five million extra immigrants over the next decade,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said a report<\/a> by the Center for Immigration Studies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI read it,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WallStreetMav\/status\/2041662338067992681?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> WallStreetMav. \u201cSec. 2303(d) basically blocks all deportations by ICE.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI actually read her bill \u2026 It\u2019s not just \u2018amnesty,\u2019 it\u2019s so much worse,\u201d said \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/0UrsaMajor0\/status\/2041637367002394880\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ursa Major<\/a>,\u201d who added:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>1. Sec. 2303(d): Prohibits DHS from deporting any illegals who simply applies for her \u201cdignity\u201d program.<\/p>\n<p>2. Sec. 1502: Opens the flood gates to asylum seekers by decreasing processing times and mandates DHS ensures \u201ccontact with legal counsel\u201d (free lawyers for illegals).<\/p>\n<p>3. Sec. 3202: More than doubles per-country immigrant visa caps (more indian [H-1B white-collar visa worker] immigration).<\/p>\n<p>4. Sec. 3112: Allows the next Democrat AG to terminate removal proceedings [deportations] against illegals who are family of U.S. citizens.<\/p>\n<p>5. (A cherry on top) Sec. 1516: Mandates STUDENT LOAN FORGIVENESS [payoff] for immigration lawyers.<\/p>\n<p>These are just a few of examples of the unconscionable nonsense in this treacherous bill. I\u2019m very glad you killed your own bill with your temper tantrum, though. Saved us a headache on the floor!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Section \u201c3202 doesn\u2019t just double the [annual] immigration caps,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/gatorrespectr\/status\/2041665632727441912?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>\u00a0@gatorrespecter. \u201cIt doubles the immigration caps AND makes it so that the immediate family of the immigrant [does] not count towards the [annual] cap. It\u2019s so much worse.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"a9d-pre\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/files.constantcontact.com\/1849eea4801\/50eab3df-8bbe-4494-8cb9-489657b13ca9.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bill would vastly expand<\/a> the huge foreign inflows into the white-collar jobs needed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2026\/03\/21\/report-young-citizens-happiness-plunges-high-migration-countries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hard-pressed U.S. college graduates<\/a>, said an account titled \u201cBarefoot Student.\u201d\u00a0 It added, \u201cYoung Americans are on their own. Battle lines drawn.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a9d adSo\"\/>\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/t\/assets\/html\/tweet-5.html#2041380054761111832\" data-btlnk=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BarefootStudent\/status\/2041380054761111832\" class=\"bnn-if-tweet\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"260\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Salazar\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/files.constantcontact.com\/1849eea4801\/50eab3df-8bbe-4494-8cb9-489657b13ca9.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bill is designed<\/a> to help GOP legislators give <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2026\/04\/07\/trumps-migration-rules-force-wage-gains-in-meatpacking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">business groups<\/a> what they want without also creating millions of anti-GOP voters who would throw today\u2019s GOP politicians out of their jobs. What business wants is the continuation of the pre-Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/extraction-migration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">economic policy of extracting<\/a>\u00a0millions of people from poor countries to serve the U.S. consumer economy as wage-cutting workers, taxpayer-funded consumers, and apartment-sharing renters.<\/p>\n<p>The Democrats are happy to use this policy of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/2024-election\/2024\/10\/29\/joe-bidens-migration-has-extracted-roughly-1-in-10-nicaraguan-men\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">consumer-economy colonialism<\/a>\u00a0against citizens because Salazar\u2019s bill also gives them the delayed payoff of many millions of poor immigrant voters.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, once the bill is signed, everyone in D.C. will know that Democrats do control the political future \u2014 and that knowledge will allow them to quickly accelerate citizenship for millions of migrants.\u00a0\u201cThis [bill] turns Texas blue,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/thebrett\/status\/2041526891329257774?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">noted<\/a> Brett Busnell.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/t\/assets\/html\/tweet-5.html#2041614011834171868\" data-btlnk=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreannaMorello\/status\/2041614011834171868\" class=\"bnn-if-tweet\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"260\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Many polls show that most citizens<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/immigration-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> rationally oppose<\/a> the mass inflow of wage-cutting migrants \u2014 and especially a citizenship-granting amnesty for lawbreaking migrants. The public also favors the deportation of migrants that business groups want to hire instead of Americans.<\/p>\n<p>So, Salazar, her political allies, her media supporters, and her donors must insist that the amnesty is not an amnesty, but is only a business-boosting, family-friendly alternative to unpleasant deportations.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/t\/assets\/html\/tweet-5.html#2041641011294687730\" data-btlnk=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WesternLensman\/status\/2041641011294687730\" class=\"bnn-if-tweet\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"260\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The bill will also fuel crime outside Salazar\u2019s wealthy neighborhood.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a9d adSo\"\/>\n<p>Will Chamberlain <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/i\/status\/2041607373974905281\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> posted<\/a>: \u201cReminder that Maria Salazar\u2019s amnesty bill includes a provision that prevents allegations of gang membership in state or federal databases from being used to determine whether or not someone is in a gang for amnesty purposes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s called the dignity act because they take your dignity and give it to strangers so that rich people can stay rich,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Fred00738342098\/status\/2041426798001467488?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">snapped<\/a> Fred. \u201cYour dignity is costing corporate America too much in wages.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t recognize the name \u2018Dignity Act,&#8217;\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/J__Lory\/status\/2041700132845142337?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">s<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/J__Lory\/status\/2041700132845142337?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aid<\/a> J_Lory. \u201c[The] Official short title is DIGNIDAD Act.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/t\/assets\/html\/tweet-5.html#2041655243792949576\" data-btlnk=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/sues86453\/status\/2041655243792949576\" class=\"bnn-if-tweet\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"260\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Salazar\u2019s co-conspirators \u2014 including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2023\/03\/09\/bidens-migration-overwhelms-rockland-county-n-y\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rep.
