Through acoustic testing, researchers pinpointed a narrow \u201csafety gap\u201d in the frequency spectrum, i.e., between 750 and 780 Hz, that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitaltrends.com\/home-theater\/xmems-sound-from-ultrasound-cypress-mems-driver-anc\/\" rel=\"\">ANC filters struggle to suppress<\/a>. Guess what? The DuoBell is tuned precisely to this range.<\/p>\n<p>It also packs a second resonator set to a higher frequency and a specially designed hammer mechanism that delivers rapid, irregular strikes, producing sound patterns that ANC algorithms simply can\u2019t cancel fast enough.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The results speak for themselves. Testing showed that pedestrians wearing ANC headphones get up to 22 meters of additional reaction distance when bike riders use DuoBell. The margin in traffic could be the difference between a near miss and something far worse.
