Eric Swalwell (D-CA) is still blaming MAGA for unsubstantiated reports that he behaved inappropriately with a number of female staffers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis false, outrageous rumor is being spread 27 days before an election begins by flailing opponents who have sadly teamed up with MAGA conspiracy theorists because they know Eric Swalwell is the frontrunner in this race,\u201d Swalwell\u2019s gubernatorial campaign <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/cGIRE\">told<\/a> the far-left <em>Politico<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Democrat activist Cheyenne Hunt appears to be the ground zero of these allegations, which aren\u2019t really allegations, but a promise that allegations are sure to come:<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/t\/assets\/html\/tweet-5.html#2041016223786504297\" data-btlnk=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CheyenneHuntCA\/status\/2041016223786504297\" class=\"bnn-if-tweet\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"260\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cTargeting employees, interns, and fans. Acting as a mentor just to exploit that power,\u201d Cheyenne reported on Monday. \u201cDMs and Snapchat messages. Allegations ranging from uncomfortable comments to potentially criminal conduct.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe number of credible women who have come forward since I posted my video is pretty shocking, and connecting them with the investigative reporting teams who have been working on breaking this for years has greatly expedited this process,\u201d Hunt <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CheyenneHuntCA\/status\/2041016242660946134?s=20\">added<\/a>. \u201cI am confident this story will break soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"a9d-pre\">\u201cOne more key point I want to share: I am an attorney,\u201d she continued. \u201cI am well aware of the risk I am taking by speaking out publicly and that fact that if I were to lie about a powerful public figure on a platform of my size, I could easily be subject to a defamation lawsuit.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a9d\"\/>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a9d\"\/>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"\/>\n<p>She also has some back up\u2026<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/t\/assets\/html\/tweet-5.html#2041489422345011639\" data-btlnk=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Bgilly13\/status\/2041489422345011639\" class=\"bnn-if-tweet\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"260\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/t\/assets\/html\/tweet-5.html#2041012931534692413\" data-btlnk=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bhaviklathia\/status\/2041012931534692413\" class=\"bnn-if-tweet\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"260\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, Hunt responded to the denial in <em>Politico<\/em>:<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/t\/assets\/html\/tweet-5.html#2041882893761573227\" data-btlnk=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CheyenneHuntCA\/status\/2041882893761573227\" class=\"bnn-if-tweet\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"260\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>On the issue of the non-disclosure agreements, a Swalwell campaign advisor was quite careful in their wording, stating that Swalwell himself has \u201cnever asked someone to personally sign an NDA.\u201d That\u2019s a pretty narrow denial that leaves plenty of room for Swalwell staffers to ask for those NDAs to be signed. Even the far-left <em>Politico<\/em> points out that the Swalwell campaign does \u201chave a privacy agreement to protect confidential materials.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Currently, although most polls show a tight race among more than a half-dozen candidates, Swalwell could be considered the frontrunner to succeed Democrat California Gov. Gavin Newsom.<\/p>\n<p>Normally, I\u2019d be pretty disgusted with Cheyenne Hunt floating the rumor that possibly-perhaps-sometime-soon allegations of sexual misconduct will be forthcoming, even if a Democrat is the target. I really do try to be fair that way. But this is a delicious piece of karma for Swalwell, the fang-fangster who has never heard a lie about President Trump without running to the corporate media to herald and trumpet it.
