The General Directorate of Civil Defense has called for caution and the necessity to stay in safe places, avoiding areas where floods and valleys gather, and not swimming in them. It also emphasized the importance of adhering to the instructions announced through various media outlets and social media platforms, as thunderstorms are expected to continue in most regions of the Kingdom until next Tuesday.<\/p>\n
It clarified that according to data from the National Center of Meteorology, the Makkah region will be affected by moderate to heavy rains that will lead to flooding, hail, and downbursts causing dust and sandstorms, including areas such as Turbah, Al-Muwyah, Al-Khurmah, Rania, Taif, Maysan, Adham, Al-Ardiyat, and light to moderate rains in Al-Lith, Al-Qunfudhah, the Holy Capital, Al-Jumum, Bahra, and Al-Kamil. The Riyadh region will also be affected by moderate to heavy rains leading to flooding, hail, and downbursts causing dust and sandstorms, covering Wadi Al-Dawasir, Al-Sulayyil, Al-Aflaj, the capital Riyadh, Al-Dilam, Al-Muzahimiyah, Dhurma, Al-Qiddiya, Al-Dar’iyyah, Hota Bani Tamim, Al-Hariq, Al-Kharj, Marat, Afif, Al-Dawadmi, Al-Qwai’iyah, and Al-Rain, with light to moderate rains in Ramah, Al-Shuqra, Al-Majma’ah, Al-Zulfi, Al-Ghat, and Thadiq.<\/p>\n
The regions of Asir, Jazan, Najran, Al-Baha, and the Eastern Province will be affected by moderate to heavy rains, leading to flooding, hail, and downbursts causing dust and sandstorms, with light to moderate rains in Al-Qassim, the Northern Borders, and Medina.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
