The LSU Tigers<\/a> entered the 2026 college football<\/a> offseason with a new coach in tow and a heavily revamped roster.<\/p>\n LSU<\/a> completed a full facelift of its quarterback room after adding a high-profile transfer expected to lead the program forward in former Arizona State signal caller Sam Leavitt this offseason.<\/p>\n On top of Leavitt, the Tigers also landed two other quarterbacks through the transfer portal<\/a> in former USC passer Husan Longstreet and Elon’s Landen Clark.<\/p>\n Leavitt, who underwent season-ending surgery<\/a> last October, shared an update on social media earlier this week, posting an image of his foot following a procedure.<\/p>\n \u201cSmall step back for a bigger one forward!! Let\u2019s GEAUX!!\u201d Leavitt wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n Matthew Hinton-Imagn Images<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Although the post raised immediate concern among fans because of a misinterpretation of his message, the quarterback quickly clarified his situation, adding, \u201cGot the pins out of my foot from initial surgery.
