{"id":47495,"date":"2026-04-11T09:21:38","date_gmt":"2026-04-11T09:21:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/foreignnewstoday.com\/?p=47495"},"modified":"2026-04-11T09:21:38","modified_gmt":"2026-04-11T09:21:38","slug":"florida-takes-176-more-foreign-truck-drivers-off-the-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/foreignnewstoday.com\/?p=47495","title":{"rendered":"Florida Takes 176 More Foreign Truck Drivers Off the Road"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"subheading\">The state of Florida is continuing to remove foreign, non-English-speaking commercial truck drivers from the roadways after 176 more CDL drivers were taken out of service with Operation Highway Shield.<\/p>\n<p>During the state operation conducted from March 23 to 26, officials stopped more than 3,300 commercial trucks to inspect the drivers for proficiency in English and to check if they have legal CDL licenses.<\/p>\n<p>Many of the licenses being used by the migrant truckers literally had no names printed on the document.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/t\/assets\/html\/tweet-5.html#2042558208057970829\" data-btlnk=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WallStreetApes\/status\/2042558208057970829\" class=\"bnn-if-tweet\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"260\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a result of the inspections, 176 drivers were taken out of service, 54 of which were taken out of service for language deficiencies. Additionally, 35 individuals were arrested on criminal-related charges, and 42 individuals were taken into custody for violating federal immigration laws,\u201d the state Department of Law Enforcement said in an April 9 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fdle.state.fl.us\/news\/2026\/april\/multi-agency-statewide-operation-conducts-over-3-300-commercial-vehicle-inspections\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Operation Highway Shield B-Roll\" width=\"1170\" height=\"658\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/m62ebSuAZ_I?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
