The time is right for Mercedes Mon\u00e9\u2019s return and to hopefully unveil the next iteration of her character in AEW.<\/p>\n

She is currently no-belt Mon\u00e9 after finishing off a month-long tour of Europe to drop the final five (one vacated) of her record 13 simultaneous championships she collected during her first two years in AEW. Mon\u00e9 did exactly what she said she would do when she joined AEW \u2013 taking women\u2019s wrestling global \u2013 and should be commended for it\u00a0<\/p>\n

The interview she gave after losing it all and making good on her promises is hopefully the road map for what the second part of her AEW run is going to be, because who we saw was not the egotistical, self-centered, and gluttonous Mercedes Mon\u00e9 but the genuine, caring, and giving Mercedes Varnado.<\/p>\n
