Ralph Norman (R-SC) is the latest Republican to publicly call out Rep. Maria Salazar\u2019s (R-FL) \u201cDIGNIDAD Act,\u201d calling the bill a \u201cTrojan horse for amnesty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s say it how it is, the DIGNIDAD ACT is a Trojan horse for mass amnesty,\u201d Norman posted to X on Monday. \u201cIt\u2019s a hard no.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/t\/assets\/html\/tweet-5.html#2043761453295960096\" data-btlnk=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepRalphNorman\/status\/2043761453295960096\" class=\"bnn-if-tweet\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"260\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Norman joins several Republicans in the last few weeks who have come out against Salazar\u2019s amnesty bill, which includes provisions that give green cards to millions of illegal aliens deemed \u201cDREAMers,\u201d while millions more illegal aliens in the U.S. would be allowed to stay indefinitely.<\/p>\n<p>The bill also more than doubles employment-based green cards, importing hundreds of thousands more foreign workers for American jobs each year, all of whom can apply for naturalized citizenship after just five years in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) for weeks has been sounding the alarm over the DIGNIDAD Act, calling it \u201ca straight-up mass migration bill\u201d on Fox News\u2019s <em>The Ingraham Angle<\/em> last week.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/t\/assets\/html\/tweet-5.html#2042396335689588974\" data-btlnk=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IngrahamAngle\/status\/2042396335689588974\" class=\"bnn-if-tweet\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"260\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn the one hand, it gives amnesty immediately to 12 to 15 million illegal aliens, but it also hamstrings the president to stop him from conducting deportations of the other illegal aliens and there\u2019s also a provision in the bill that would allow DHS to bring back illegal aliens who have already been deported under the first Trump administration if they meet certain criteria\u201d Gill said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a9d\"\/>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a9d\"\/>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"\/>\n<p>\u201cThis bill is every single thing that we ran against in the last election cycle. We got a mandate, we got a trifecta from voters in order to deport illegal aliens, in order to secure the border, that\u2019s why they gave the president the popular vote,\u201d Gill continued. \u201cSo to turn around and tell voters, \u2018You know what, you asked for mass deportations, we\u2019re going to give you amnesty and worse,\u2019 it\u2019s an unforgivable political betrayal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>John Binder is a reporter for Breitbart News.
