{"id":50708,"date":"2026-04-14T18:57:27","date_gmt":"2026-04-14T18:57:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/foreignnewstoday.com\/?p=50708"},"modified":"2026-04-14T18:57:27","modified_gmt":"2026-04-14T18:57:27","slug":"soldiers-kill-bandits-rescue-hostages-in-bauchi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/foreignnewstoday.com\/?p=50708","title":{"rendered":"Soldiers kill bandits, rescue hostages in Bauchi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<br \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Nigerian Army has announced that troops of the 33 Artillery Brigade under Operation WUTAN DAJI have recorded a major operational success following a coordinated clearance operation in Kumbodoro Forest and Kumbodoro Village in Bauchi State.\n<\/p>\n<p>In a statement released on Tuesday via its official Facebook handle, the Army said the offensive dealt a significant blow to bandit networks operating in the area.\n<\/p>\n<p>According to the statement, troops successfully cleared multiple bandit enclaves, including the notorious Azuge camps within the Kumbodoro Forest axis.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSupported by the Air Component, the troops neutralised several bandits and dismantled key operational bases, further degrading the criminals\u2019 capability to threaten lives and property of citizens.
