They\u2019re simple, but they make you feel confident and put-together without trying too hard,\u201d Sweeney shared in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCrisis Text Line, a cause so close to my heart, has been a part of this partnership from the beginning. I love knowing that when everyone wears these pieces, they are also a part of something meaningful, that directly helps people who need it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Unveiled in July 2025, Sweeney\u2019s debut American Eagle campaign was similarly denim-centric.<\/p>\n<p>However, the ads \u2014\u00a0which praised the 28-year-old star\u2019s \u201cGreat Jeans\u201d \u2014 quickly <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/07\/28\/celebrity-news\/sydney-sweeneys-american-eagle-good-jeans-ad-accused-of-being-nazi-propaganda\/\">sparked controversy<\/a> with its play on the word \u201cgenes.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Sweeney\u2019s first American Eagle campaign praised her \u201cgreat jeans\u201d \u2014\u00a0and proved polarizing. <span class=\"credit\">American Eagle<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Despite the controversy, the campaign was the brand\u2019s most successful to date. <span class=\"credit\">American Eagle<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In a press release after the backlash \u2014\u00a0which <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/11\/04\/celebrity-news\/sydney-sweeney-breaks-silence-on-controversial-american-eagle-ad-donald-trumps-support\/\">Sweeney called \u201csurreal\u201d<\/a> \u2014 American Eagle <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/08\/01\/style\/american-eagle-responds-to-sydney-sweeney-great-jeans-ad-controversy\/\">backed their star<\/a>, whose custom designs for the company sold out in mere days.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way,\u201d the statement read, in part. \u201cGreat jeans look good on everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And the actress\u2019 campaign was the brand\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/09\/04\/style\/american-eagles-sydney-sweeney-campaign-is-its-most-successful-yet\/\">\u201cmost successful to date,\u201d<\/a> according to the company, which reported $1.28 billion in revenue for the quarter her ads was released.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSweeney is a winner,\u201d AE chief marketing officer Craig Brommers said on an earnings call.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/09\/04\/business\/american-eagle-stock-soars-24-thanks-to-sydney-sweeney-ad-campaign\/#\"\/>It would appear other retailers are taking note; Sweeney\u2019s lingerie brand, Syrn, <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/01\/27\/style\/sydney-sweeney-launches-syrn-lingerie-line\/\">launched earlier this year<\/a> with backing from none other than Jeff Bezos.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/04\/15\/style\/sydney-sweeney-returns-with-second-american-eagle-campaign-after-controversy\/\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sydney Sweeney is back for a second American Eagle campaign, this time modeling jean shorts.
