As the studio\u2019s top brass and a slew of A-list guests teed up exclusive footage and a host of major announcements, there was zero mention of Paramount\u2019s impending takeover.<\/p>\n<p>Beloved actor\u00a0<strong>Patton Oswalt<\/strong>\u00a0hosted the showcase, kicking things off with one question: \u201cIs there a better studio with bigger movie stars than Warner Bros. right now?\u201d And as a subsequent sizzle real touted Warner Bros.\u2019 recent hot streak, another question lingered in the Dolby Colosseum: \u201cIf things are this great, why sell?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The closest anyone on stage came to addressing the uncertain future was President of Global Theatrical Distribution\u00a0<strong>Jeffrey Goldstein<\/strong>\u00a0(clad in a gold lam\u00e9 suit), who quipped, \u201cA lot has happened since I stood here on the stage last year and, indeed, a lot will happen before I\u2019m back here again next year.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>Jason Momoa, Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya of \u201cDune: Part Three.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Chris Pizzello\/Invision\/AP<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Director Craig Gillespie and Millie Alcock of the upcoming film \u201cSupergirl.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Chris Pizzello\/Invision\/AP<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Motion Picture Group co-chairs and CEOs\u00a0<strong>Michael De Luca<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Pam Abdy<\/strong>\u00a0presented a chipper front as they lauded the studio\u2019s continued success, unveiling a new specialty film label called Clockwork, which will release\u00a0<strong>Sean Baker<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cTi Amo!\u201d globally in 2027.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cWe have no intention of slowing down,\u201d DeLuca said. \u201cIn fact, we\u2019re accelerating.
