Subsequently, several Gulf Arab states said they were targeted by Iranian missiles after Tehran pledged to retaliate against the strikes.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the FO said, \u201cPakistan regrets the breakdown of talks and outbreak of hostilities in the Middle East. Pakistan condemns the unwarranted attacks against the Islamic Republic of Iran. These attacks come at a time when diplomatic efforts were underway to reach a peaceful and negotiated solution.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"media  w-full  w-full  media--left    media--uneven  media--stretch\" data-original-src=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ForeignOfficePk\/status\/2027764346932367436\">\n<\/figure>\n<p>The ministry maintained that such a course of action \u201cwill undermine the peace and stability of the entire region, with far reaching consequences\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan also \u201cstrongly condemned\u201d the attacks by Iran against the brotherly countries of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Pakistan] \u2026 stands in solidarity with all these brotherly countries and underscores the need to exercise maximum restraint,\u201d the ministry said, adding the unprovoked attacks constituted \u201cblatant violations of the sovereignty of the brotherly Gulf states\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The FO also said that Pakistan condemned the unfortunate death of a Pakistani national in the UAE during the \u201cdastardly attack\u201d and urged all sides to \u201crefrain from any further actions that may undermine the security and territorial integrity of other regional countries\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2><a id=\"pm-speaks-to-saudi-prince-dar-speaks-to-iranian-fm\" href=\"#pm-speaks-to-saudi-prince-dar-speaks-to-iranian-fm\" class=\"heading-permalink\" aria-hidden=\"true\" title=\"Permalink\"\/>PM speaks to Saudi prince; Dar speaks to Iranian FM<\/h2>\n<p>Separately, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spoke to Saudi Arabia\u2019s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Prime Minister\u2019s Office, the premier strongly condemned the serious regional escalation that had taken place as a result of the Israeli attack on Iran, followed by the \u201cregrettable attacks on other Gulf countries\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile assuring the Saudi leadership of Pakistan\u2019s full solidarity and support in the current situation, the prime minister said that Pakistan would always stand with its Saudi brothers and sisters, at all times to come, and under all circumstances,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe prime minister said that Pakistan was ready to play a constructive role at this difficult time and prayed that the blessings of the holy month of Ramadan would bring peace to the region at the earliest,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n<p>PM Shehbaz also took to X and said, \u201cPakistan stands in full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and our brotherly Gulf countries in this perilous time.
