Knives, drugs and 'love potion' found in Durban learners’ school bags during anti-crime searches

An anti-crime campaign led by the eThekwini Neighbourhood Watch has uncovered knives, drugs, an air gun pellet and even a “love potion” in learners’ school bags across several Durban townships. The initiative, targeting schools in Inanda, Ntuzuma, KwaMashu and Phoenix, aims to curb gangsterism and violence among pupils, with organisers planning to expand the programme beyond the PINK area.
