One of the hottest names when it comes to NFL trade talks heading into the 2026-27 season is Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby.
After playing six seasons for the Raiders, plus one in Oakland before the team relocated to Las Vegas, it appears that Crosby is finally open to being traded from the team, and the Las Vegas Raiders are fielding offers. The Raiders are in rebuild mode, so they could certainly use a handful of solid draft picks to set their franchise up for the future.
Now, one NFL insider thinks he knows where Crosby will land. It’s one of a handful of teams that seems to be in the running to snag him late in the game.
In a Thursday, March 6, feature for CBS Sports, Tyler Sullivan writes about trades that he would “love to see happen.”

In the piece, he projects Crosby will land with the Eagles. In return, the Raiders, he believes, will get a 2026 first-round pick and a 2027 second-round pick.
“Maxx Crosby’s tenure with the Raiders feels like it’s run its course,” he notes in the piece. “Las Vegas strained the relationship by shutting the star pass rusher down at the end of the year, a decision he reportedly did not support. Beyond that, however, Las Vegas is undergoing an organizational reset.”

He believes new head coach Klint Kubiak is ready to start clean and fresh with Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza and build around him.
“Crosby will be exiting his prime, so he doesn’t sync up with this new era,” he adds in the piece. “The most prudent move for GM John Spytek is to sell Crosby now for a king’s ransom.”

Enter the Philadelphia Eagles, who have the No. 23 overall pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. In the piece, he says that Howie Roseman should be willing to part with that pick, and a second-rounder next year, for Crosby.
“We saw last season how impactful a legit edge rusher can be with Philadelphia after they were the No. 1 scoring defense in the league after acquiring Jaelan Phillips at the deadline in a deal with Miami,” he adds. “With Phillips set to be a free agent, this is an opportunity for Roseman and the Eagles to not only replace him but improve off the edge with a game-wrecker like Crosby.”
