The PGA TOUR stays in Florida this week for one of the biggest events of the season — THE PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass. Often called golf’s “fifth major,” the tournament brings a loaded field and the largest purse of the year, with $25 million on the line. Defending champion Rory McIlroy captured the title last year, but the unpredictable Pete Dye layout means anyone in the field can contend.

Collin Morikawa ($9,800)
Morikawa won at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, finished T7 at the Genesis Invitational, and he just posted his third straight top-10 finish at Bay Hill. Morikawa has gained strokes off the tee, around the green, and putting in each of his last three starts, showing his entire game is clicking. TPC Sawgrass demands precision, particularly with approach shots, an area where Morikawa consistently ranks among the best on TOUR. He has also made the cut in four of his five career starts at THE PLAYERS, including a top-10 finish, making him a reliable and high-upside DFS option this week.
Si Woo Kim ($9,300)
Kim is a strong DFS option thanks to his track record on Pete Dye courses and his current form. The 2017 champion at TPC Sawgrass clearly feels comfortable on this layout, and he has made the cut in eight of nine appearances at THE PLAYERS. Kim is coming off a career-best T13 at Bay Hill and has posted seven top-15 finishes worldwide in his last nine starts. He has also been one of the best tee-to-green players on tour, ranking second in strokes gained approach and near the top in driving accuracy. With elite ball-striking and proven success on Dye designs, Kim offers excellent DFS upside this week.
Jake Knapp ($7,600)
Knapp is a strong DFS play this week thanks to his red-hot start to the season. Through early March, he has finished T11 or better in each of his first five starts, showing some of the best form on tour. Knapp ranks third in total strokes gained, fourth in putting, and eighth in driving distance, a combination that fits well at TPC Sawgrass. He’s also been excellent at avoiding bogeys and scrambling when needed. After missing Bay Hill due to illness, he comes in rested rather than injured. Knapp is also two-for-two at THE PLAYERS with a T12 finish last year, adding more confidence to his DFS upside.
Rickie Fowler ($7,400)
Fowler is a strong DFS option right now as he continues one of his best stretches in years. The veteran has made 11 straight cuts with seven top-20 finishes, including a T9 at last week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational. Fowler’s ball-striking has been excellent, gaining more than 10 strokes in those categories over his last 16 rounds. He has also gained at least three strokes putting in each of his last three starts. Fowler ranks 17th in total strokes gained this season and seventh on par-4s. He also has strong history at TPC Sawgrass, winning THE PLAYERS in 2015 and finishing runner-up in 2012.
Sahith Theegala ($7,000)
Theegala offers strong DFS value thanks to his recent form and comfort at TPC Sawgrass. He’s coming off a T6 finish at Bay Hill, where he closed with a field-low 66, and now has three top-10 finishes in his first seven starts of the 2026 season. Theegala has also made three of four cuts at THE PLAYERS, including a T9 finish in 2024. His mid-iron play and putting make him a great fit for Sawgrass, and he ranks 22nd in total strokes gained this season. With just one missed cut in his last 12 starts, Theegala brings both upside and reliability to DFS lineups.
