“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Jessi Draper Ngatikuara’s husband, Jordan Ngatikuara, filed for divorce on Thursday in Utah, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.
Per TMZ, Jordan, who has been married to Jessi for five years, stated, “This has not been an easy decision and it comes with a heavy heart. I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons.
“While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition.”
“I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect. I kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this as a family,” he concluded.
Page Six attempted to reach out to Jessi, but did not hear back immediately.
The former couple, who share a son and a daughter together — along with Jordan’s daughter from a previous relationship — have experienced ups and downs and multiple separations since marrying in 2020. Season 4 of the reality show documented them working on their marriage following a 90-day separation in 2025.
Jessi told People in November 2025 that prior to that separation she was experiencing emotional abuse from Jordan, which she said started after they were married.
“As soon as it started happening, I was like, ‘Oh, this isn’t super normal,’ but also, you’re kind of used to it. It starts off slow. It’s not like one big dramatic thing happens. It’s little behaviors over time, and then all of a sudden you look back and you’re too deep in it and you can’t do much about it,” she told the outlet.
Jessi appeared unbothered on social media Thursday, posting a slideshow of selfies just one day ago while apparently still wearing her ring. On Thursday, her Instagram Stories showed her practicing dance moves with “Dancing With the Stars” pro Sasha Farber.
The divorce filing comes on the heels of a tumultuous time for the “SLOMW” cast. Fellow star Taylor Frankie Paul triggered a halt on the production of its Season 5 last week amidst an investigation into the release of a disturbing 2023 video that shows the reality star throwing chairs at her ex Dakota Mortensen during a domestic violence incident.
Paul was also set to appear on Season 22 of “The Bachelorette,” but network ABC put a stop to that as well, stating “We have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family.”
