How Madison St. Rose overcame ACL injury to lead Princeton to new heights

A year ago, Madison St. Rose was stuck on the bench watching Princeton try to earn its spot in the Round of 64.

The Tigers were contending for a No. 11 seed with Iowa State after falling to Harvard in the semifinals of the Ivy League Tournament.

Without St. Rose, who suffered a season-ending injury early in the schedule, Princeton failed to secure at least a share of the Ivy’s regular-season title. The Tigers then failed to reach the conference tournament’s championship game for the first time since it began in 2017.

That Iowa State game was the last chance for the Tigers to muster up some tangible success, which had been stripped away since their star guard went down. And St. Rose could only watch and offer advice.
