An elderly woman was stabbed to death with scissors and another lady seriously wounded in a shocking roommate brawl in Crown Heights on Saturday night, according to police.
Cops responded to a 911 call at the Ebbets Field Apartments at 1700 Bedford Ave. in Brooklyn shortly before 10:30 p.m. and found a 74-year-old woman with fatal multiple stab wounds to her head and arms and a 72-year-old female victim with slashes to her back and arms, police said Sunday.
The women were stabbed with scissors, with their suspected attacker found barricaded inside — forcing cops to kick down the door to take her into custody, according to neighbors and law-enforcement sources.
The assault stemmed from a dispute between roommates, sources said — with their 43-year-old female roomie identified as a person of interest and taken into custody at the scene.
Neighbors said the alleged attacker had moved in just five months ago and that a man who lived with the women was seen banging on the barricaded door screaming, “Let me in!” before cops arrived..
The woman is now being questioned at the 71st Precinct station house, police and sources said.
The stabbed victims were rushed to Kings County Hospital, where the older woman was pronounced dead, and the second woman was listed in stable condition.
An NYPD rep said the name of the dead woman is being withheld pending family notification.
