All Xbox Game Pass members are getting gifted with a surprise worth $40 of bonus freebies beyond all the savings they get from the free titles added to the catalog every month. Subscribers to Microsoft’s gaming service have access to an expansive list of games that they can play for free. For example, one of 2024’s best RPGs joined Game Pass just recently, and most members of the service can download and play it without having to pay any extra fees.
Of course, this is but one of the many free titles. On top of that, Microsoft will also start offering an additional freebie for Xbox Game Pass members, as was reported by True Achievements. According to the outlet, Paradox Interactive will soon celebrate the 10th anniversary of Stellaris, and as a result, the base game will be expanded for free with content that is currently worth around $37.97 – nearly $40.

Premium DLCs For Stellaris Arrive For Free
As was reported, Stellaris is celebrating its anniversary soon, and this will lead Paradox Interactive to add three paid DLCs to the foundation of the base game. This expansion to the grand strategy game will occur on May 11 this year. According to the report, the Utopia, Synthetic Dawn, and Humanoids Species Pack DLCs will be unlocked for all Stellaris players (just a few days before Forza Horizon 6 joins Xbox Game Pass).
The surprise detail here is that Stellaris is available on all Game Pass tiers: Essential, Premium, Ultimate, and PC Game Pass. This means that every single Xbox Game Pass subscriber will be given access to this $40 bundle for free, should they choose to play the game. There are no strings attached: if you play Stellaris on Xbox Game Pass on May 11 or later, you’ll be able to enjoy three additional DLCs, entirely for free.

If you haven’t checked it out yet, Stellaris may be worth your time. As is implied by its name, the 4X grand strategy game created by Paradox allows you to explore a sci-fi galaxy. This also means going to war with rivals to claim territories in this huge Xbox Game Pass freebie.
