أعلنت الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني الكويتي، تعرض مطار الكويت الدولي، فجر اليوم الأربعاء، لاعتداءات بطائرات مسيرة استهدفت خزانات الوقود.
وقال المتحدث الرسمي للهيئة العامة للطيران المدني الكويتي عبد الله الراجحي، إن مطار الكويت الدولي تعرض لاعتداءات سافرة بطائرات مسيرة من قبل إيران والفصائل المسلحة التي تدعمها استهدفت خزانات للوقود في مطار الكويت الدولي تتبع الشركة الكويتية لتزويد الطائرات بالوقود (كافكو)، ما أدى إلى اندلاع حريق كبير في الموقع.
وأوضح الراجحي أن الاعتداء أسفر عن أضرار كبيرة أصابت خزانات الوقود التابعة لشركة كافكو بالمطار.. مؤكدا أن فرق الطوارئ والجهات المختصة باشرت على الفور التعامل مع الحادث، وحسب التقارير الأولية فان الأضرار مادية دون وجود إصابات بشرية.

The official spokesperson for the Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority, Abdullah Al-Rajhi, stated that Kuwait International Airport faced blatant attacks by drones from Iran and the armed factions it supports, targeting fuel tanks at Kuwait International Airport belonging to the Kuwait Aviation Fueling Company (KAFCO), which resulted in a large fire at the site.
Al-Rajhi explained that the attack caused significant damage to the fuel tanks belonging to KAFCO at the airport, confirming that emergency teams and relevant authorities immediately began addressing the incident. According to initial reports, the damages are material with no human injuries reported.
