Ivanka Trump has said she learnt of the 2024 assassination attempt on her father “almost immediately” while at a pool with her children in Bedminster, New Jersey.
“There was a lot of commotion, the televisions were on. So I saw it almost immediately,” she told Steven Bartlett on his podcast The Diary of a CEO this week.
“It was almost real-time, that was before he stood back up, that I saw what it was transpiring. Two of my children were there, so my first reaction was to turn them away,” she said, adding that she was “horrified” and “scared.”
She added that she knew “that he was fine,” and that “it wasn’t his time.”
