This boy’s blue in the face.
A Cincinnati cop tried, and failed, to chase down a defiant cyclist in a viral “cat-and-mouse” scuffle recorded by a bystander — and the clip has since been viewed more than 10 million times online.
The officer was trying to rip something out of the cyclist’s hands when he pivoted and put the younger man in a headlock, the video taken earlier this month shows.
The cyclist used the policeman’s weight against him and easily pushed him to the ground. While the pot-bellied cop tried to right himself, the man bolted over to his abandoned bicycle and started to mount it.
The officer, undeterred despite his apparent exhaustion, yanked on the rear tire, forcing the cyclist to lose his grip and tumble to the ground.
The rabble-rouser easily outpaced the stocky officer, who struggled greatly during their minute-long chase. He even started circling around the hobbling policeman, as if mocking his increasing sluggishness.
The officer appeared to deploy pepper spray at the man, but to no avail. The cyclist merely jogged away, leaving the winded cop in the dust.
When the man hopped back on his bike and started to flee in earnest, the cop slowed to an amble while gasping for breath, according to the video.
The officer was left standing alone in the street beside his patrol car as the slick suspect disappeared around the corner.
The video was reposted across various social media platforms. One post shared on Instagram garnered more than 10 million views.
“Please give that poor policeman retirement,” one viewer commented.
“A 10-year-old girl could escape from this so-called officer!” another added.
“Are they both drunk?” one commenter speculated.
It’s not immediately clear what the cyclist was being apprehended for, or if he was ever arrested.
