Photo: Focus Features Following the delightful Drive Away Dolls, this second entry in what director Ethan Coen and co-writer Tricia Cooke are calling their “lesbian B-movie trilogy” stars Margaret Qualley stars as a private detective named Honey O’Donahue, working to solve a murder case that involves a religious cult. Also on the case is MG Falcone (Aubrey Plaza), a police officer who feels a spark with Honey. The movie didn’t make much sense, but at least we get a few super hot, super spicy sex scenes where Qualley and Plaza hook up. That includes a scene where Plaza fingers Qualley in broad daylight in the middle of a crowded bar, while maintaining a conversation about their hobbies. Surely, that’s a health code violation.

Photo: ©IFC Films/Courtesy Everett Collection Y Tu Mama Tambien is a Decider After Dark favorite, but can you blame us? Alfonso Cuarón’s 2001 drama is both phenomenal art and phenomenally hot, starring Gael García Bernal, and Diego Luna as two teenage boys who take a road trip with a woman in her twenties, and explore their sexuality. (Yes, that Diego Luna. Go Cassian Andor!) That includes masturbating together, watching each other have sex, and eventually, having sex with each others in a threesome. But no homo, I’m sure.

Netflix This French queer romance features some pretty steamy moments between leads Léa Seydoux and Adèle Exarchopoulos, who meet as teenagers and maintain a secret sexual relationship into adulthood. Much like the new HBO series Heated Rivalry, what makes these sex scenes hit is the forbidden yearning between two people who feel they can never be together.

Photo: Netflix This Spanish sex comedy follows five different stories of sexual escapades, all taking place over the course of one night. One of those stories is the story of Raúl (Álvaro Cervantes) and Víctor (Ricardo Gómez), strangers who meet on either side of a glory hole. It may not be a conventional meet-cute, but it’s surprisingly romantic.

Photo: The Orchard The premise of this queer coming-of-age movie is that Alia Shawkat and Laia Costa will have sex every hour for a day. So, needless to say, there are quite a few steamy sex scenes to pick from. But one particularly sexy scene features Costa and Shawkat, sans clothes, plastered up against each other, almost as if they are attempting to fuse into one. They just can’t seem to get close enough. Now that’s what I call intimacy!

Photo: Netflix Craving a steamy “lesbians by the sea” period drama? Netflix has got you covered with Elisa & Marcela, the 2019 original drama based on the true story of two women who got legally married in Spain in 1901—more than a century before same-sex marriage was legal in the country. Shot in gorgeous black and white, this drama directed by Isabel Coixet delivers on the historical romance as well as the sex scenes.

Photo: Netflix While there isn’t much actual sex in The Boys in the Band—the underrated gem of a film adaptation of the 1968 play, featuring the full cast of the 2018 Tony-winning revival for Broadway—the scene where Matt Bomer showers in front of Jim Parsons is brimming with sexual tension. The Boys in the Band tells the story of a group of gay men in New York City in 1968, who gather to celebrate their friend’s birthday. Before the party, Donald (Bomer) gets ready at the party host, Micheal (Parsons), apartment, and has no qualms about stripping down to the nude to hop in Michael’s shower. Michael enjoys the view from his bathroom mirror, and who could blame him?
