As many Americans slept, the US military struck Iran — sparking swift reactions from celebs and lawmakers.
In a combined effort with Israel, a series of attacks was leveled against Iran. The initial attack happened close to the office of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Tehran.
The regime has, for months, refused to dismantle its nuclear program after weeks of negotiations. President Trump warned there would be consequences if a deal was not reached. “It’s a very simple message. They will never have a nuclear weapon,” Trump said in a video message posted on Truth Social.
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy was one of the first celebrities to chime in after the attacks.
“I always laugh at yo-yo’s who don’t have the 1st clue what information the President had that forced this decision. Even politicians who despise him but were briefed on the situation seem to agree with this operation. I guess lotta podcasters know better,” he said on X.
“Iran is a terror nation with a long history of some of the worst human rights atrocities in the world. Nobody disputes that fact. They hate Americans. They hate Israel. They hate all Jews. They hate the West. They would kill us all if given the chance. They just murdered tens of thousands of their own people. The rest of the Middle East is on our side. The Iranian people are on our side. It isn’t that complicated to support our Troops and our country this morning. We are on the right side here. God Bless America,” Portnoy added.

Health guru and staunch Trump supporter Jillian Michaels also weighed in on the attacks.
“We all know President Trump declaring war means America’s brave men and women putting on uniforms. It’s moms, dads, and spouses holding their breath. It’s the fate of the Iranian people hanging in the balance. Agree or not, pray for our troops and for the families who shoulder this burden at home. Pray for the people of Iran,” she wrote on X.
“The world has watched their suffering for decades: young women beaten to death for showing a strand of hair, dissidents tortured in secret prisons, protestors hanged from cranes, live rounds fired into crowds chanting “freedom.” A regime that rapes, silences, and executes to cling to power,” Michaels said.
“… But if from this darkness comes liberation for millions, defanging the top funders of terror around the world, and a wider peace in the Middle East, history will mark it as a defining moment,” she added.
Apparently taking the temperature of his social media platform, Elon Musk also jumped on X with a message to those who were hit with a barrage of Iran and politically-related posts.
“You can now select topics for your timeline, so if you’re tired of political ragebait, you can select something else,” Musk said.
