The Evil Dead star, Bruce Campbell, revealed his cancer diagnosis.
Campbell made a post on his official Instagram account stating that he has a type of cancer that is “treatable” but not “curable.” However, the actor remained vague and did not disclose what type of cancer he has. He wrote, “Hi folks, when someone is having a health issue, it’s referred to as an ‘opportunity,’ so let’s go with that – I’m having one of those. It’s also called a type of cancer that’s ‘treatable’ not ‘curable.’ I apologize if that’s a shock – it was to me, too.”
He said that he wasn’t looking for sympathy. Campbell explained that the reason he was announcing the news to the public was that it was going to affect his career. He stated that his treatment would be his biggest priority, and that he must cancel a few convention appearances this summer. He added that he was also making this announcement because he wanted to make sure that his followers had all the facts straight before any false information came out.
