Following a series of leaks, Realme has officially introduced the Realme Note 80. Designed as a budget-friendly option, the smartphone prioritizes structural integrity and battery life over high-end processing power, positioning it for users seeking a reliable, everyday device at a low cost.

Durability and Display

The Realme Note 80 distinguishes itself in the entry-level segment with a focus on resilience. It features both IP54 certification for dust and splash resistance and the MIL-STD-810H military-grade standard, indicating it can withstand specific impacts and environmental stressors.

The device sports a 6.74-inch LCD panel with an HD+ resolution (1600 x 720). While the resolution is modest, it offers a 90 Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling, protected by Panda Glass and reaching a peak brightness of 563 nits.

Internal Specifications and Battery

Under the hood, the Note 80 utilizes the Unisoc T7250 chipset paired with 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Storage options include 64 GB or 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 memory, expandable via MicroSD. To compensate for the basic hardware, Realme has equipped the phone with a substantial 6,300 mAh battery, supported by 15W wired charging.

Other notable features include:

  • Camera: A simple 8 MP rear sensor with autofocus and a 5 MP front-facing selfie camera.

  • Connectivity: 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

  • Software: Android 15 running under the Realme UI 6.0 interface.

Pricing and Availability

The Realme Note 80 is launching initially in Southeast Asian markets. In Indonesia, the 4 GB/64 GB model is priced at approximately $115, while the 4 GB/128 GB version retails for roughly $135.

While the device has been certified for release in markets like Brazil, there is currently no word regarding official release dates or availability for the United States.
