وناقش الوزيران مستجدات الأوضاع الإقليمية وتداعياتها على الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة، حيث أعرب وزير خارجية نيوزيلندا عن إدانة بلاده للهجمات العشوائية التي تشنها إيران على المملكة، وشكر المملكة على جهودها في حماية الرعايا الأجانب، بمن فيهم النيوزيلنديون الموجودون في المملكة.

The two ministers discussed the latest developments in the regional situation and their implications for security and stability in the area. The New Zealand Foreign Minister expressed his country’s condemnation of the random attacks carried out by Iran against the Kingdom and thanked the Kingdom for its efforts in protecting foreign nationals, including New Zealanders present in the Kingdom.
