أمين عام جامعة الدول العربية: تبني مجلس الأمن قرارًا يدين الهجمات الإيرانية يعكس تضامنًا عالميًا مع الموقف العربي – أخبار السعودية

أكّد الأمين العام لجامعة الدول العربية أحمد أبو الغيط، أن تبني مجلس الأمن مشروع قرار يدين الهجمات الإيرانية على دول مجلس التعاون والأردن يعكس تضامنًا عالميًا واسعًا مع الموقف العربي.

جاء ذلك خلال اتصال هاتفي أجراه أبو الغيط مع وزير خارجية مملكة البحرين الدكتور عبداللطيف الزياني، هنأه فيه على الدور الذي قامت به مملكة البحرين بصفتها العضو العربي في مجلس الأمن، في حشد التأييد لمشروع القرار الذي يدين الاعتداءات الإيرانية على دول مجلس التعاون والأردن.

وشدد أبو الغيط على أن استمرار الهجمات الإيرانية على منشآت مدنية في عدد من الدول العربية يعكس إصرارًا على التورط في حسابات خاطئة بخوض الحرب ضد أطراف لم تسع إليها ولم تؤيدها، مؤكدًا أنه لا يمكن تبرير الاعتداء على دول ذات سيادة بأي ذريعة أو حجة، وأن الدول العربية ترفض استخدام أراضيها ومقدراتها ساحةً لتصفية الحسابات.

وأوضح المتحدث الرسمي باسم الأمين العام للجامعة العربية جمال رشدي، أن تبني القرار بأغلبية 13 صوتًا يعكس الرفض الدولي الواسع للاعتداءات الإيرانية على الدول العربية، ويؤكّد وجود تضامن واضح مع الموقف العربي.

The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, confirmed that the Security Council’s adoption of a draft resolution condemning the Iranian attacks on the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Jordan reflects a broad global solidarity with the Arab position.

This came during a phone call Aboul Gheit made with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani, in which he congratulated him on the role that the Kingdom of Bahrain played as the Arab member of the Security Council in rallying support for the draft resolution that condemns the Iranian aggressions against the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Jordan.

Aboul Gheit emphasized that the continuation of Iranian attacks on civilian facilities in several Arab countries reflects a determination to engage in misguided calculations by waging war against parties that did not seek it or support it, stressing that the aggression against sovereign countries cannot be justified by any pretext or argument, and that Arab countries reject the use of their territories and resources as a battleground for settling scores.

The official spokesperson for the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Jamal Rushdi, explained that the adoption of the resolution by a majority of 13 votes reflects the broad international rejection of Iranian aggressions against Arab countries and confirms the clear solidarity with the Arab position.
