Shooting his shot?
Shaquille O’Neal denied sending Sabrina Carpenter “horny” messages while discussing the negative side of social media.
During a recent episode of the former Los Angeles Lakers star’s “The Big Podcast” with guest Jim Jones, O’Neal read an alleged DM that was included in a post titled, “Shaq exposed for shooting shot at Sabina Carpenter.”
“I want you to tell me if it’s me or if it’s not me. Shaq: ‘Damn, baby. I would keep your farts in a cologne bottle and spray it on me every day,’” O’Neal read of the alleged message to the pop star, 26.
“‘Just jokes. I’m Shaq. What’s your name, baby?’” he continued reading.
“And Sabrina says, ‘I know who you are. You’re way too famous to be sending me messages like that.’”
O’Neal, 54, then read his alleged reply, “‘I can’t be horny and want some of that snow bunny kitty for myself. You’re being rude for no reason.”
The message went on, “You can’t handle big Diesel anyway. My meat would have you in the hospital. Can we find out?”
O’Neal then asked Jones, 49, if the message was real or “cap,” to which the “We Fly High” rapper said social media was “wild” because a computer “could do anything.”
The four-time NBA champion reassured women that he has “way more game than that.”
O’Neal was married to “Basketball Wives” alum Shaunie Henderson from 2002 to 2011. They share four children: sons Shareef and Shaqir, and daughters Amirah and Me’arah.
The former athlete also shares stepson Myles from the reality star’s previous relationship, and daughter Taahirah with ex Arnetta Yardbourgh.
While O’Neal has kept his love life mostly out of the public eye, he sparked dating rumors with OnlyFans star Sophie Rain in September 2025 after she posted photos of them together at her 21st birthday in Las Vegas.
The businessman, who DJ’d the party, shut down the rumors, stating he does not date that young and that they were simply friends.
Meanwhile, Carpenter is believed to be single following her highly publicized split from actor Barry Keoghan in December 2024.
