Jadex subsidiary Alltrista Plastics has announced plans to expand its facility in Springfield, Missouri, US.
The project will expand the facility by 25,000ft², boosting its total production capacity.
The move is aimed at supporting growth across both its medical and consumer packaging product lines.
According to the company, it will lead to the creation of new jobs.
The company’s investment aims to make the Springfield location a key site for its compression blow forming technology.
This is expected to strengthen Alltrista’s ability to offer high-quality precision injection-moulded parts for the medical and healthcare sectors.
The work is set to conclude in September 2026.
Alltrista president and CEO Brian Searfoss said: “This investment reflects our continued commitment to providing our customers with reliable, scalable and technically advanced manufacturing solutions for highly regulated custom products.”
Alltrista manufactures rigid packaging and custom-moulded products. The company operates across the US and the UK.
Alltrista’s parent company Jadex is a US-based manufacturing and material science business that develops sustainable products for medical, industrial, and consumer markets.
With eight facilities across the US and UK, it provides products such as engineered nylon resins, plastic components, zinc items, and temperature-controlled solutions for medical and consumer markets.
“Alltrista Plastics to expand Missouri facility” was originally created and published by Packaging Gateway, a GlobalData owned brand.
