أعلنت بعثة الأمم المتحدة في الحديدة، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، نقل مهماتها المتبقية إلى مكتب المبعوث الأممي الخاص إلى اليمن هانس غروندبرغ، وإنهاء عملياتها بموجب قرار مجلس الأمن رقم 2813.
وقالت «أونمها» في بيان على موقعها الإلكتروني: إن فريقاً مشتركاً من بعثة الأمم المتحدة لدعم اتفاق الحديدة ومكتب المبعوث الأممي إلى اليمن، برئاسة ماري ياماشيتا، القائمة بأعمال رئيس البعثة، عقد مشاورات عبر الإنترنت مع وفد الحكومة اليمنية في لجنة تنسيق إعادة الانتشار في 26 مارس 2026، موضحة أن المناقشات «تركزت على الإنجازات المشتركة للجنة تنسيق إعادة الانتشار، والمهمات المتبقية، وترتيبات المرحلة الانتقالية إلى مكتب المبعوث الخاص للأمين العام».
وأشارت إلى أن البعثة ومكتب المبعوث أكدا مجددًا التزام الأمم المتحدة بمواصلة دعم تنفيذ اتفاق الحديدة، وأهمية استمرار التواصل والتعاون لدعم الاستقرار في الحديدة واليمن، مبينة أنه عقب المشاورات التي جرت مع أطراف اتفاق الحديدة خلال الأشهر الماضية، تُكمل بعثة الأمم المتحدة لدعم اتفاق الحديدة (أونمها) نقل مهماتها المتبقية إلى مكتب المبعوث الخاص للأمين العام للأمم المتحدة إلى اليمن، وتُنهي بذلك عملياتها في 31 مارس، وفقًا لقرار مجلس الأمن 2813.
يذكر أن بعثة الأمم المتحدة لدعم اتفاق الحديدة في اليمن تأسست بموجب قرار المجلس 2452 لعام 2019، بناء على مخرجات اتفاق ستوكهولم في ديسمبر 2018 بين الحكومة اليمنية وجماعة الحوثيين.
وكان من ضمن مهماتها الإشراف على وقف إطلاق النار، وانسحاب جميع القوات العسكرية من موانئ الحديدة الثلاثة والمدينة، وتسليمها لقوات الأمن المحلية، لكن ذلك لم يتحقق على الأرض واكتفت بإصدار نشرة شهرية بشأن ضحايا الألغام.
The United Nations Mission in Hudaydah announced today (Tuesday) the transfer of its remaining tasks to the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, and the conclusion of its operations under Security Council Resolution 2813.
The UNMHA stated in a statement on its website that a joint team from the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement and the Office of the Special Envoy to Yemen, led by Mari Yamashita, the Acting Head of the Mission, held online consultations with the Yemeni government delegation in the Redeployment Coordination Committee on March 26, 2026, explaining that the discussions “focused on the joint achievements of the Redeployment Coordination Committee, the remaining tasks, and the arrangements for the transition to the Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General.”
It noted that the Mission and the Office of the Envoy reaffirmed the UN’s commitment to continue supporting the implementation of the Hudaydah Agreement and the importance of ongoing communication and cooperation to support stability in Hudaydah and Yemen, indicating that following the consultations held with the parties to the Hudaydah Agreement over the past months, the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA) is completing the transfer of its remaining tasks to the Office of the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Yemen, thereby concluding its operations on March 31, in accordance with Security Council Resolution 2813.
It is worth mentioning that the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement in Yemen was established under Council Resolution 2452 of 2019, based on the outcomes of the Stockholm Agreement in December 2018 between the Yemeni government and the Houthi group.
Among its tasks was to oversee the ceasefire, the withdrawal of all military forces from the three ports of Hudaydah and the city, and their handover to local security forces, but this was not achieved on the ground, and it only issued a monthly bulletin regarding casualties from landmines.
