رحبت مملكة البحرين بإعلان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب بشأن التوصل إلى وقف إطلاق النار لمدة أسبوعين مع إيران، وما تضمنه من تفاهمات نحو خفض التصعيد في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، مُثَمِّنةً جهود الوساطة البنّاءة التي اضطلعت بها جمهورية باكستان الإسلامية.
وشددت وزارة الخارجية البحرينية على أهمية أن تفضي هذه الخطوة إلى الوقف الفوري والشامل لجميع الهجمات الإيرانية العدائية وغير المبررة ضد دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية, والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، تنفيذًا لقرار مجلس الأمن الدولي رقم (2817) لسنة 2026، مؤكدة ضرورة امتثال إيران التام لالتزاماتها بموجب قواعد حسن الجوار ومبادئ القانون الدولي وقرارات الشرعية الدولية، وإيجاد حل مستدام يضمن عدم امتلاكها سلاحًا نوويًا، ووقف تطوير وانتشار الصواريخ الباليستية والطائرات المسيّرة، وامتناعها عن أي أنشطة من شأنها زعزعة أمن الخليج العربي أو تهديد استقرار المنطقة والعالم، بما في ذلك استخدام الوكلاء والتدخل في الشؤون الداخلية للدول.
The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the achievement of a two-week ceasefire with Iran, and the understandings it included towards de-escalation in the Middle East, appreciating the constructive mediation efforts undertaken by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of this step leading to an immediate and comprehensive cessation of all Iranian hostile and unjustified attacks against the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution No. (2817) of 2026. It affirmed the necessity of Iran’s full compliance with its obligations under the principles of good neighborliness, international law, and international legitimacy, and finding a sustainable solution that ensures it does not possess nuclear weapons, halts the development and proliferation of ballistic missiles and drones, and refrains from any activities that could destabilize the security of the Arabian Gulf or threaten the stability of the region and the world, including the use of proxies and interference in the internal affairs of countries.
