The must-see red carpet looks from the 2026 Actor Awards

Awards season rolls on as the annual Actor Awards, presented by SAG-AFTRA (formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards), honour acting excellence across 15 TV and film categories.

This year’s ceremony, taking place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and hosted for the second time by Kristen Bell, includes a lifetime achievement award for Harrison Ford.

The night is expected to be star-studded, with Claire Danes, Connor Storrie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jacob Elordi and Jenna Ortega confirmed as presenters, and Ariana Grande, Michael B. Jordan and Michelle Williams among the nominees. The ceremony is streaming live on Netflix.

For the first time, the red carpet also has an official theme: “Reimagining Hollywood glamour from the ’20s and ’30s.” We’re watching to see how the theme is interpreted by the stars in attendance.

An unexpected colour combination is always refreshing on the red carpet, and the White Lotus delivered in Balenciaga. Hook also modelled for the brand’s Fall 2026 lookbook.

The singer and Descendants star embraced her dramatic side in a graphic black-and-white strapless corset gown by designer Monique Lhuillier, paired with bold dark lips. 

Yerin Ha

Following the night’s black-and-white trend, the Bridgerton season four lead — and this year’s Actor Awards ambassador — wore a Balenciaga look featuring a feathered crop top and tailored trousers.

Matty Matheson

The Canadian chef and actor, who has said he doesn’t work with a stylist, looked sharp on the red carpet in a dark pinstripe suit paired with a black leather bolo tie. 

Claire Danes

Nominated for The Beast In Me, Danes wore a chic black column dress with an embellished collar and low-cut back. 

Sarah Pidgeon

The Love Story actor wore a minimalist strapless dress in pink from Balenciaga’s spring/summer 2026 collection. 

Wunmi Mosaku

Nominated in the female actor in a supporting role category for Sinners, Mosaku wore a custom red jersey Louis Vuitton gown with matching silk taffeta sleeves for added volume and drama.

Mia Goth

Goth wore an embellished deep red Dior look by Jonathan Anderson, featuring lace-trimmed detailing and a voluminous bustle. 

Teyana Taylor

Nominated for One Battle After Another in the female actor in a supporting role category, Taylor wore a custom Thom Browne gown featuring a sculptural corset bodice and sequinned skirt. 

Kate Hudson

Nominated for Song Sung Blue in the female actor in a leading role category, Hudson wore a custom Valentino caped gown with a dramatic train, paired with bespoke Emily P. Wheeler jewelry created for the look.

Erin Doherty

Doherty, nominated for Adolescence in the female actor in a television movie or limited series category, wore a strapless pink gown with matching pumps. Her structured look is a custom design by Louis Vuitton. 

Demi Moore

Moore, who works with Canadian stylist Brad Goreski, wore a black wool crepe bustier dress with a white tulle cloud back by Schiaparelli Haute Couture.
