As travel editors, we get to cover a lot of ground—and we don’t just mean miles, but all the proximate joys that come along with life on the road, from the restaurants we’re dining at to the books we’re reading on the plane. This April, the editors at Condé Nast Traveler are ushering in spring with trips to Seoul in the midst of cherry blossom blooms and adventurous jaunts to America’s National Parks. Below, what our editors across our London and New York City desks are loving this month.

Spring is always a welcome reintroduction to the world—the cobwebs of winter blown off, London sparkling in the blue skies, and that addictive sense of optimism. Canal walks! Beer gardens! Reading outside with a coffee! I can barely contain my excitement. I’ve naturally been wanting to change my entire home and wardrobe in its welcome—but for the sake of my wallet and the planet, I instead have opted for a few small adjustments.
An easy way to make my wardrobe feel transformed is always jewelry. Daisy London is often my go-to for chunky, on-trend pieces. The brand’s collaborations are understandably popular, and I’ve spotted more than a few peers sporting its pieces at fashion month. I’m loving the Estée Lalonde Sapphire Organic Ring Stack; it’s an instant compliment generator. Elsewhere, I’ve got my eye on Missoma’s button pearl earrings that are just the right size to do the talking with a slicked-back hairstyle.
Adding to my spring transformation: I’ve planted dahlias in the garden, reorganized my food cabinets, packed away my winter coats, and even fitted a new filtered showerhead. I have psoriasis, and my scalp has been crying out for a change. With every beauty expert I’ve spoken to telling me to look at the London water I so absent-mindedly use, I finally addressed the problem and am trying the Jolie showerhead in hope of improving my barrier function, dryness, and redness. That change got me feeling practical, and since it’s the season for iced coffee (although I am notoriously an all-year-round iced coffee drinker), I’ve upgraded to a reusable Frank Green cup. It keeps ice whole for up to 12 hours, which means I can take my time sipping on my coffee all day and not rely on single-use plastic.
