Will there ever be peace in the galley on Below Deck Down Under Season 5? With Elena “Ellie” Dubaich as his new galley hand, Chef Ben Robinson is still trying (without success) to streamline meal preparation and timing. His lack of progress is much to the chagrin of Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher. Since the beginning of the charter season, Kelliher has pressed Robinson to cut down the wait time between courses. However, Robinson’s approach to service is much less regimented than Kelliher’s, and he feels no pressure to speed up. In this clip from tonight’s all new episode, pent up frustrations (and a faulty radio signal) finally cause Kelliher and Robinson to clash.

As the guests enjoy Robinson’s starter–coconut ceviche of local red snapper—Kelliher heads down the stairs to the galley. “Galley, galley, I’m coming down. They are eating now,” radios Kelliher. “Pretty sure we can go for service.” Down in the galley, Robinson and Dubiach struggle to make out Kellher’s words through the radio static. “What did she say?” asks Dubiach. “I can’t understand a word she says,” says Robinson.

Kelliher and new stew Alesia Harris (formerly Robinson’s sous chef) come into the galley for service. “Hey Dais, we can’t really understand anything you ever say on the radio,” says Robinson. “Okay, I’m saying go with service,” snaps an annoyed Kelliher. I” know you are, but moving forward, it’s very frustrating and it’s not your fault,” says Robinson.

“Do you have your phone on you? I’ll text you,” says Kelliher, as she attempts to problem solve. “I don’t know because what happens is you’ve got a lot of disturbance,” starts Robinson, but Keliher quickly cuts him off. “Can we stop talking and go with service, please?” asks Kelliher, thinking of the guests finishing their first course.

“Yeah, but you’re gonna do it again in 5 minutes,” argues Robinson, who grabs a pitcher of soup and begins pouring the liquid into bowls. “That’s fine. Let’s just go with service,” says Kelliher. “Is it? Oh, it’s going to be great,” snaps Robinson.

“Ok, I”ll speak with you when you start getting it out on time,” calls Kelliher from the crew mess as she moves on to the next item on her check list. “I’m able to plate soup and have a conversation with someone,” says the frustrated Robinson. “It’s not actually going to end the fucking world.”

“Fuck off and go and do your job,” says Kelliher to Robinson from the next room. “Daisy, this is not a personal jab, it’s an infliction,” says Robinson, trying to justify his behavior. “I know, I got it the first time,” cries Kelliher. “Okay, perfect,” replies Robinson, clearly over the conversation.

Will Robinson and Kelliher be able to finish the dinner service in peace? Or will the situation over continue to escalate? Tune in to Below Deck Down Under tonight at 8/7c on Bravo to find out!
